Attention mushers, handlers, volunteers and spectators:

New for 2010 is the SENEY 200. The Distance will be approximately 240 miles. The fees and rules will be the same as for the SENEY 300.

The Seney 300 will be expanded to 400+ miles with two remote checkpoints and no support.

Drivers meeting will be Saturday, January 2nd at 2 PM at the Comfort Inn.

***Mushers intersted in using the Seney 300 as an Iditarod Qualifier must:*** ***If these conditions can not be met, than the Musher may only run the Seney 300 as a training run.***


Checkpoints are as follows:

Race Start:
Al's Cabin to Fox River - 35 Miles

Fox River to Rohn Cabin* - 45 Miles
*Remote checkpoint - no support, no dog drop, Musher must have food and straw.
Rohn Cabin to Al's Cabin* - 65 Miles
*Will pass thru Fox River - dog drop available
**These two runs must be completed within 24 hours or Musher will be disqualified.

Al's Cabin to Jim O.'s Cabin - 45 Miles

Jim O.'s Cabin to Jim Warren's Cabin- 50 Miles

Jim Warren's Cabin to Vermillion Lake back to Jim Warren's - 80 Miles
**Musher can run straight thru or camp. This run must be completed within 18 hours or Musher will be disqualified.

Jim Warren's Cabin to Jim O.'s Cabin - 50 Miles

Jim O.'s Cabin to Finish Line at Al's Cabin - 45 Miles

In order to qualify for Iditarod you must finish the run by 12 midnight on Thursday, January 8th, OR 110 hours after the start of the run.
The anticipated start time is 8AM Sunday, January 3rd.
The above rules do not apply to recreational teams.
